The Assassin

Inspired by Connor's Tomahawk from the Assassin's Creed 3 video game, this design was a request from one of my nephews.  The great folks at Ubisoft were gracious enough to give me the go ahead for production though, so I figured why not!

For those of you coming here from the axe throwing community, this axe is 100% not meant for competitions.  The spike on the back violates all organized throwing regulations.  Additionally I made the blade 1/4" thick to make sure the tomahawk had enough meat to withstand some abuse.

For anyone that wants a functional version of Connor's Tomahawk, this is as close as you're going to get without paying a blacksmith a lot of money to make one for you.  The primary differences are that I chose not to incorporate all the nicks and damage from the video game model, and I rearranged the curvature of the blade to make it more functional for chopping.  No doubt about it though, this will chop.

By default, this axe comes with a single handle.  Additional handles can be purchased here. 

As an Infinity Axes special, this design incorporates a pinned handle design that allows for rapid replacement of handles.  The socket measures 1.25 inches x 0.75 inches with 1/4 inch radius corners.  You can choose to purchase additional handles with your axe head.  Regardless of choice we will also include a high strength roll-pin that will require the use of a punch to insert / remove.  The hole for the roll pins is 1/4inch in diameter, in our experience the roll pin, provides the best balance of strength and ease of replacement.
