Frank

I listen to a LOT of audio books while working on my axes. Typically 2-3 a week, more if I've got a lot of work to do.

One of the series that I've enjoyed immensely is called the Ripple System by Kyle Kirrin where in one of the main characters is a sentient axe named Frank.  The banter between Frank and the protagonist is absolutely HILARIOUS.

After reaching out to the author to see if I could make a Frank inspired axe, we worked together to come up with the design for the axe you see here.  The design is a mix of fantasy and viking elements and it feels fantastic in the hand!  This is not necessarily a throwing axe because of the thickness of the blade but it is certainly an axe you can both display with pride and use to chop anything that comes your way! 

Topping off the design is a custom frog made by the very talented Ty Ledesema with an inside joke from the books. Frank can be ordered without the frog as well.

The blade measures 5 & 5/8" from tip to tip and the overall axe tips the scales and just a hair over 2.15 lbs with the full 18" handle.

I can deliver the axe with or without a charred finish on the handle.
