Board Breaker Jr

When I decided to redesign the Board Breaker I felt it wise to create a matching hatchet version as well.  Because the weight of this axe is more than 1/3 lb heavier than the original matching hatchet (the Baby Breaker) I felt the need to create a newly named hatchet for this matches set.

From tip to tip, the axe blade measures 4 inches, and has a a deep enough curvature to the blade to provide 1.5" of penetration before the blade starts to shrink towards the eye.

This axe should meet the specifications and regulations for small axe competitions of most organizations. Those regulations are changing all the time though so if you're unsure, feel free to reach out!

By default, this axe comes with a single handle.  Additional handles can be purchased here. 

As an Infinity Axes special, this design incorporates a pinned handle design that allows for rapid replacement of handles.  The socket measures 1.25 inches x 0.75 inches with 1/4 inch radius corners.  You can choose to purchase additional handles with your axe head.  Regardless of choice we will also include a high strength roll-pin that will require the use of a punch to insert / remove.  The hole for the roll pins is 1/4inch in diameter, in our experience the roll pin, provides the best balance of strength and ease of replacement.
