Ethan
When I decided to refresh the Hank design it made sense to scale it up and make a a big axe version as well. When it came to naming it though, I felt simply adding "Big" to the title was pedestrian. So I decided to make it more personal. Remember how Hank is a good friend? Well it just so happens Hank has a son that is SIGNIFICANTLY taller than he is. His name is Ethan. What's more, I was Ethan's scout master 12 years ago, and when I opened my axe throwing venue Ethan was one of my first employees. So it felt right to be a little more personal with the naming of the "Big Hank."
With a blade length of 4 & 5/8 inches, and a weight of 2.45 lbs it maxes out scoring potential and if you're into having matched sets will look great alongside either of the Hank models. With all the weight behind the tip for excellent punch in power, even the hardest boards won't stop this axe
The Ethan uses a modified Infinity Axes handle design. 1.5 inches instead of 1.25 inches wide. When working on the design, I felt the slightly larger handle matched the aesthetics better and would give more support to a heftier head. The handle is still held in place by a 1/4 inch roll pin, making replacing a broken handle a breeze.
PLEASE NOTE: When ordering this axe, The default is 1 handle, for additional handles, please order them separately.
