For those of you that love the Carpenter style axes but want to get the heaviest axe possible for incredible penetration power I present the Finnish Carpenter's Axe.  This is another design that comes from a regionally inspired axe, and as far as I can tell it's still a design / model that is in current use as a chopper in that part of the world.

While the original models were all retained via a wedge, the deep and narrow eye socket on these axes, made the conversion to a pinned head VERY easy.

This axe has a nice deep beard, weighs 1.64lbs in the head alone and has the maximized 4" blade with gentle curves for aesthetics.

The poll on the back has a striking surface 2" tall by 1" wide, I'm hoping to see some fun customization and artwork on these!

This axe should meet the specifications and regulations for small axe competitions of most organizations. Those regulations are changing all the time though so if you're unsure, feel free to reach out!

By default, this axe comes with a single handle.  Additional handles can be purchased here

As an Infinity Axes special, this design incorporates a pinned handle design that allows for rapid replacement of handles.  The socket measures 1.25 inches x 0.75 inches with 1/4 inch radius corners.  You can choose to purchase additional handles with your axe head.  Regardless of choice we will also include a high strength roll-pin that will require the use of a punch to insert / remove.  The hole for the roll pins is 1/4inch in diameter, in our experience the roll pin, provides the best balance of strength and ease of replacement.
