In terms of the most units ordered, the Valkyrie is leading the back by about 10% right now. I'm assuming the flat blade and thin profile is the major draw for throwers. When I started looking at Big Axe designs, it made a lot of sense to simply scale up the Valkyrie, and thus was born Big Val. After producing and shipping quite a few of the Big Val 1.0, I made the decision to refresh the design. I created a video explaining the design changes on YouTube.

With a blade length of 4 & 5/8 inches, and a weight of 2.6 lbs it maxes out scoring potential and if you're into having matched sets will look great alongside the original. With all the weight behind the tip for excellent punch in power, even the hardest boards won't stop this axe
Big Val uses a modified Infinity Axes handle design. 1.5 inches instead of 1.25 inches wide. When working on the design, I felt the slightly larger handle matched the aesthetics better and would give more support to a heftier head. The handle is still held in place by a 1/4 inch roll pin, making replacing a broken handle a breeze.
PLEASE NOTE: When ordering this axe, The default is 1 handle, for additional handles, please order them separately.

I am an advanced level thrower and manage an axe throwing venue. Infinity axes are by far the way to go! They are seemingly balanced and throw just as good as they look. You have definitely earned me as customer for life! On top of this Taylor’s customer service is nothing short of supreme. Matter of fact I need yet another VJ to throw for duels, The big Val 2.0 is hands down the best big axe in the game!

Just finally got around to working on our first big Val 2.0. This is one awesome big axe, did a little weight reduction and thinned the bit out a bit (completely not needed) then gave the bit a slight radius. Stick a 23 1/4” handle on it and this is one sweet throwing and easy to stick big axe! Been using up the rest of our cottonwood supply in my back yard and they’ve been sitting in sun and snow for the last year, Big Val has zero issues sticking to these hard boards. Highly recommend this axe, brings us back to our roots as the original big Val was our first big axes!

This is my second Big Val 2.0. I love the first one so much I just had to get another. Super sharp and awesome coverage. I like the thin straight handle since I throw 2 handed.
